Movies LaughterHours, a movie riffing event featuring comedians doing what they do best, make fun of things. Join us with one of the stars of the film as we roast him and the movie all it once!  Some of you may be wondering, “What is ‘riffing’?” Well riffing essentially provides personal commentary in which you point out the flaws, heckle, and wisecrack about any film you are watching. There is a thin line between riffing and being annoying. Often this is determined, not by what is said, but by the mood and viewpoint of the one who’s listening. In what way? Well, if you think about it,stand-up comics are really just ‘riffers of life’. They take the ordinary things of life, magnify an aspect of its flaws, and spin a joke or two about it. That’ why LaughterHours Comedy is bringing you one of the best of the worst movies along with one of the stars as a Movies LaughterHours exclusive! Hosting a LIVE riffing of “Back from Hell” a 1993 horror film (that looks like it was shot in the 1973) starring  Larry DuBois, Shawn Scarbrough, Don Ruem. All of whom we have never heard of before, but we will remember forever as the stars of this horror Ed Wood would have called a “piece of work.” Here is what IMDB has to say about this movie:

The Devil speaks through one of the characters. Creepily hilarious!

“A priest visits an old friend, who has gone to Hollywood to become a movie star. He finds out that his friend has sold his soul to Satan for stardom and now regrets it. The priest determines to help his friend fight the devil and regain his soul.” Join some of the funniest comedians and one of the stars of the movie as we sit down, drink, and riff this terribly good movie! LaughterHours Comedy will be providing some audience prizes and will also take your vote for #itsallfunnyep short film challange.  Tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door for this event.
